About

Civitas is a Netherlands-based foundation bringing together academics, experts and practitioners working across disciplines and sectors.

We operate as a collaborative platform, enabling people, knowledge and practice to connect across different contexts.

Since its establishment in 2004, Stichting Civitas has evolved in response to changing social, educational and cultural environments. What began as a small-scale initiative has gradually developed into an international, network-based foundation.
